Wear it pink is an annual fund raising day during October – breast cancer awareness month! It has become an annual tradition for the staff at the Junair Spraybooths Heywood office to join together on ‘wear it pink day’ and take part in the Charity Event.
This tradition started over 12 years ago and sees staff coming to work in their pinkest outfits as well as donating pink prizes for the annual raffle! The day itself raised a grand total of £140 for the worthy cause.
Beth Abbott, Spray Booth Sales Administrator, the main driving force behind the event commented. “Once again the day was a great success. It’s a great cause and we’re only too happy to help raise money for such a worthy charity.”
Ellie Adam, Senior Fundraising Products Manager at Breast Cancer Now, said “wear it pink is back this year and it’s bigger and pinker than ever! We are so pleased to have Junair Spraybooths take part in wear it pink again. Each year we’re amazed by the number of people who not only wear it pink for the day but who go all out to help us raise awareness of breast cancer. We’re really grateful to every single person who takes part and donates. It’s really inspiring to see so many people having a good time raising money for life-saving breast cancer research.”
