Junair Spray Booths complete “Smart repair” facility at Ford motor Company in Dagenham
The Ford Motor Company has set up a bespoke “Smart Repair” facility at their Dagenham site. Junair were successful tenderers to design the facility and supply and install all the equipment which includes the industry leading mobile “Smart Repair”spray booth “Smartair” with a Junair WheelBlast, Wheel Bake and the low-rise scissor lifts.
In addition, an in-booth lift was added to make the existing Junair Booths even more versatile. Junair Spray Booths were chosen for this above any other tender due to Junair’s reputation for providing quality, versatility and the most innovative smart repair equipment on the market as well as the ability to supply and install all the required equipment and carry out all the necessary training.
Ford Benefit from Junair Spray Booth Technology
Ford will be benefitting from Junair’s Smartair, perfect for priming small areas within the workshop, allowing for terrific space economy and repairs to be primed at speed without the need for fully masking or moving the vehicle. The Booth comes to the vehicle! Conversely, the Smartair adheres to Environmental and HSE legislation as do all Junair spray booth products and services.
The WheelBlast unit, the first blasting unit of its type to be specifically designed to help prepare wheels before they’re painted, saves time and produces greater productivity. Usually, without the WheelBlast unit, operatives have to rely ondoing the job manually which takes much longer, thus reducing productivity. This wheel blast equipment is safe and easy to use, features a dust capture ventilation system to provide an even better finished job, whilst superb lighting is provided to aid visibility for every task.
Spray Booth Equipment Without the need for Gas
Rounding off this great package is the Wheel Bake, a purpose built oven ideal for curing top coats on painted wheels to provide the best possible results. Users benefit from being able to do two wheels at a time, taking up to a maximum of just 30 minutes and all without the need of gas because it’s powered by electricity.
