Junair Spray Booths Complete Another Successful Installation
Junair Spray Booths have just completed another successful bodyshop lighting installation at Rye St Bishop Stortford. The pre-installation of the lux levels were not up to modern standards and demands for a Grade A bodyshop. Post installation lux levels are a consistent 750 – 800 lux. The lights that are fitted are the latest technology with motion and lux-sensing technology. The lights dim or switch off if no movement detected in 15 minutes. Lights also dim or switch off if light [lux] levels rise sufficiently to meet the 750 lux minimum requirement – this is done fully automatically.
Junair Spray Booths Provide Immediate Improvements
Managing Director of Rye Street Bill Duffy said “We recognised that our lighting system was not up to 2013 requirements and having had Junair re-light our Broxbourne & Stanstead sites and being extremely pleased with that site we didn’t hesitate to have Junair do our Bishops Stortford site. The result was an immediate improvement in visibility especially at low level on the vehicles but also we now see far fewer errors in the paint prep as they have no excuses anymore! We also have seen a huge increase in morale on the shop floor and we see energy savings of c 60% plus. I would seriously recommend any Bodyshop needing lighting to look at this system”
Energy Savings with Junair Spray Booths
Grahame Kitchin, Sales and Marketing Director of Junair Spray Booths agrees “We are delighted to carry out another successful lighting installation for Rye St Group. Bill has outlined the benefits better than I can – except to say that, over say, a five year period, most of our lighting systems are self-financing and that is without allowing for the 8% per annum anticipated increases in energy costs. Installation is very straight-forward and quick and all surveys are entirely free of charge.”
