Junair Spraybooths acclaimed QADs™ systems and its Variable Speed Drives have been praised once again for their energy-efficiency and improved production benefits by the Swift Group’s award-winning motor home manufacturing operation in Cottingham, East Yorkshire.
Junair, the UK’s leading manufacturer of spray booth ovens and associated equipment, recently worked with the Swift Group to install a purpose-designed commercial vehicle spray booth at their site. This follows a period of sustained growth for the Swift Group, which launched four new ranges of motor homes last October.
With environmental legislation and demands for improved production and energy efficiency impacting upon the choices made by the Swift Group, the Junair team was able to step-up to the challenge of delivering a bespoke spray booth solution aligned with the needs and demands of the mobile home group.
Swift Group commented: “The QADs™ were introduced by Junair Spray booths as a way of improving our cycle times. We have retrospectively added the QADs™ systems to our existing booth in addition to specifying this option as part of the construction of the new plant. Through the supply of additional airflow inside the cabin, this creates the ideal environment for the fast, controlled flash off of waterborne paints.”
The Variable Speed Drives that work in tandem with the QADs™ systems automatically vary the airflow in the cabin to match process demands, further reducing cycle times and energy usage.
