James Alpe Repair Centre choose our Spray Booth Equipment
Lancashire based Accident Repair Centre James Alpe have recently installed a four-bay Junair MultiBooth.
With over 30 years experience, James Alpe are in a prime position to understand the ever-changing requirements of its customers. James Alpe approached Junair for a solution to their customers’ requirements, and the MultiBooth was the obvious option. Key to key time, quality and cost always feature highly in customer demands and now with the new MultiBooth from Junair, James Alpe are able to deliver on all of these requirements.
Key to Key time
The MultiBooth saves time by eliminating the need for moving the vehicles around the bodyshop. The vehicles are prepared, sprayed and baked in situ, with no movement required. The damaged vehicle is driven into the cabin and the refinished vehicle is driven out. It doesn’t matter in which order the vehicles become ready for the paint process, the easy glide door simply slides along to convert the relevant cabin into a fully operational low bake spraybooth oven.
Quality
As the MultiBooth is a fully extracted spraybooth oven, the quality of the finish is the same you would expect from any other Junair spraybooth. As with all Junair products, the MultiBooth complies with all relevant HSE regulations. As MultiBooth is a conventional spraybooth oven, all compliant paint types can be used, so no compromise on paint systems is required.
Costs
The MultiBooth shares one air handling plant across all its cabins, meaning that the initial capital outlay is significantly less than you would expect. In addition to that, the speed of the process sees a higher throughput of vehicles in the workshop meaning that costs can be kept to a minimum. The booth runs with the energy efficiency that is synonymous with the Junair name, meaning the bodyshop energy bills are also kept as low as possible.
James Alpe commented, “We have been operating an express repair service for our insurance work providers and private clients for a number of years. This function was run by a dedicated team of four technicians. With the new MultiBooth, the same four operatives are now able to work far more efficiently and with a much faster turnaround time, further enhancing our express 24 hour repair facility.”
Each MultiBooth cabin is a combination preparation area and a full low bake spraybooth, allowing multiple vehicles to be repaired in a clean controlled and safe environment. Overspray is contained within individual bays ensuring a cleaner workshop environment. Each cabin is robustly built using a steel double skinned, insulated construction which meets HSE regulations including the essential 30 minute fire resistance.
