Introducing our range of additional spraybooth equipment
Our range of additional equipment enhances the functionality and performance of your spray booth, whether you’re purchasing for a body shop and have specific health and safety requirements or you work in the aerospace industry and need an external booth large enough to fit an aircraft. Additional equipment options can make a real difference.
You can find such items in our extensive product guide (on page 22) – this can be accessed from our Downloads page. For convenience, we have gone into extra detail in this blog. Take a look!
Mist Clearance Indicator
A mist clearance indicator is an essential add-on for any spray booth oven. Mist clearance indicators alert you when it is unsafe to enter the booth, i.e when a spray is in progress and there will be harmful overspray in the cabin. The automatic indicators are placed adjacent to each personnel door of the booth ensuring that users can see the red LED warning lights.
The device is triggered as soon as spraying starts, and it will remain on for the duration of the process until the booth is cleared of spray mist. A mist clearance indicator works by measuring a change in the line pressure (or the airflow through the spray gun when the gun is turned on/off). This then triggers a timer switch programmed with the clearance time.
Fire Alarm Strobe
A good way to bolster your health and safety efforts is to install a fire alarm strobe. The beacon is easily installed within the lighting frame of your spray booth and is then connected to your existing emergency system by your fire alarm contractor. When the building’s fire alarm is activated the beacon will strobe, providing a visual warning for operators inside the booth, improving the safety of your staff and reducing the chance of an incident that could prove devastating for your business.
LED Light Units
Historically, spray booths have been designed and fitted with standard fluorescent tube lights. However, over time deterioration in colour can occur affecting the overall operating light level. Advances in technology and lighting innovation have enabled Junair to make LED lighting standard on all of our equipment, providing savings on operating costs and an average 10-year lifespan; they also come with a Junair 5 year guarantee.
If you have an existing Junair spray booth with fluorescent lighting, it’s easy to upgrade to LED lighting.
Mode Indicator Lights
To increase automation and efficiency within your operation, you should consider installing mode indicator lights. They’re great for improving workflow and streamlining processes.
These devices make it easier for the booth operators/managers to view the current status of the job in progress, providing updates at a glance with a colour indicating system. The lights indicate different stages of the job: idle, spray, flash off, bake, and job complete.
Side Loading System
Our side loading systems enable convenient entry of standard and large-sized vehicles into your spray booth (as well as any other sprayable goods that require similar transportation). The side loading systems work using lightweight skates made from aluminium and rails to ensure smooth movement. We specially manufactured ball bearing wheels for even smoother vehicle processing.
Like the rest of our service, we listen to any specific requirement you may have and can provide our rail systems flush or mounted on a secure and stable surface.
Compressed Air Filter Regulator
To ensure that your compressor is providing the highest possible quality of compressed air that is safe for spraying and breathing, a specialised compressed air filter regulator should be at the top of your purchasing list.
Viewing Windows
We can install viewing windows onto any spray booths, as well as paint mixing rooms and partition walls. If you want to let a little more natural light into your spray booth, then viewing windows are ideal. They can also improve the appearance of your working environment.
External Spray Ovens
If your workplace is bursting at the seams but you’re keen to expand then it’s worth considering an external booth. Junair design equipment specifically to withstand the elements, from pitched or flat rubber roofs to weatherproofed or enclosed air handling plants. Our booths can be standalone or sit flush to your existing building and come with lockable doors and guttering/flashing if needed, helping you to maximise your space, internally and externally.
