Junair proudly supply Liquidwrap Ltd. with one of our high quality Spraybooth ovens!
Recently, the spraybooth and paint finishing experts here at Junair were contacted by the team at Liquidwrap Ltd. after they had moved into a new head office in London, and required our assistance with the transition.
In our latest post, we talk through exactly how we were able to help Liquidwrap and also provide information on how Junair can support your business to!
Who are Liquidwrap?
Liquidwrap Ltd. are high end applicators and distributors of their own innovative range of Liquidwrap colour change and protection products. Liquidwrapping is the reversible process of wrapping a car for aesthetic and protective purposes. The wrap is sprayed on in liquid form which cures to a rubbery layer which does not fade in colour due to Liquidwraps patented UV clear coats.
It can easily be removed at the owners discretion with no mess or damage to the original factory paint finish. With the growing popularity of vehicle colour changes and clear paintwork protection for high end and supercars, demand is predicted to be high.
Why did Liquidwrap Ltd. contact Junair?
Liquidwrap recently opened their head office in London and required it to be fitted out with a state of the art spraybooth oven, to enable them to apply their innovative products.
They already have some high profile collaborations under their belt already with two limited edition MotoGP helmets being designed and wrapped which will be unveiled at the Le Mans MotoGP and Gumball3000 owner Maximillion Cooper’s Twisted Defender, that he drove start to finish for the rally.
During a recent visit a Porsche, Lamborghini and Harley Davidson had just been completed and returned to their delighted owners.
The spraybooth is fully downdraught for the highest quality finish, the airflow removes overspray instantly. In order to avoid excavation the spray booth floor is a Junair LEVAC floor. This will allow the booth to be easily relocated as the company expands and needs larger premises. The spraybooth is raised 140mm off the bodyshop floor, vehicles enter the spray booth via a small ramp, the LEVAC floor enables air movement underneath the spraybooth, meaning customers who want to avoid floor excavation can enjoy the benefits of a fully downdraught floor.
A fully ventilated 3.5m long paint mix room has been included in the installation to ensure that operatives have a safe area for preparing their liquid coatings. Also included in the package was an HPC compressor set and pipework between all the new equipment. Junair’s’ Training Manager spent a day on site following the installation to train operatives on aspects of booth control and adjustment and the all-important health & safety and regular spraybooth maintenance.
Steven Wood, Sales Manager Junair Spraybooths commented:
“Liquidwrap are an innovative new company, with a stylish state of the art head office. The finishes that they can achieve with their wraps are incredible and completely removable. It’s fascinating to see the sprayable polymer turn from a liquid form into a durable protective coating and the possibilities are far greater than traditional wraps.”
